Professor Song Ruilin, Executive President of PhIRDA, met with the Dr. Brendan Shaw, Assistant Director General of International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) on May 18, 2017. The two sides had productive discussion about comprehensive cooperation to promote Chinese pharmaceutical innovation and development under the global framework.

Professor Song expressed, as the only association member who represents Chinese domestic pharmaceutical industry in IFPMA, PhIRDA is very willing to deeply and comprehensively participate in IFPMA’s activities, to show the significant progress has been achieved on Chinese pharmaceutical innovation to the world, and to play increasingly important role on global stage. Dr. Brendan Shaw delivered warm welcome for PhIRDA joining IFPMA, and looking forward to establishing cooperative relations and promoting Chinese pharmaceutical innovation under the global framework with PhIRDA.
