The CEO Roundtable of Pharmaceutical Industry under the theme of Ethics amid Market Complexities, organized by China Pharmaceutical Industry Research and Development Association (SINO-PhIRDA) was successfully held in Boao, Hainan Province at 16:30 on 9^th April. Senior government officials from Beijing and Hainan attended this roundtable. Zhu Hongren, Member of Party Committee of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chief Engineer; Zheng Hong, Director-General of Department of National Drug Policy and Essential Medicine System, National Health and Family Planning Commission. Feng Ming, Director-General of Hainan Food and Drug Administration; Xu Xiaonan, Director of Department of Medium-sized and small Enterprises, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology presented at the roundtable upon invitation and exchanged ideas with delegates from pharmaceutical industry home and abroad.

More than 20 senior managers from Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.，Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd., GuangXi WuZhou ZhongHeng Group. Co. Ltd., Betta Pharmaceuticals Co.,Ltd., TTY Biopharm Company Limited, Sanofi Pasteur, Bayer Pharma, Amgen Company, AstraZeneca Company, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Royal DSM, Zhengjian（HK）Hospital Manage Ltd., Bristol-Myers Squibb, Abbott and delegate from China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment R&D-board Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC) have joined the discussion of the roundtable. The Conference was hosted by Pro.Song Ruilin, Executive President of China Pharmaceutical Industry Research and Development Association (SINO-PhIRDA).

This is the first time for Boao to set up a conference to discuss pharmaceutical and healthcare issues during the past 14 years since its establishment. This conference had built a platform for government and the industry, making great efforts to achieve innovation, industrialization and internationalization in pharmaceutical industry in China.
