Invited by LifeSciences BritishColumbia (LSBC), SINO-PhIRDA delegation visited Toronto and Vancouver in Canada during July 13-20, 2013. Led by Prof. Song Ruilin (Executive President, SINO-PhIRDA), the delegates include Ren Wuxian (Chairman, Yabao Pharm. Co., Ltd.), Jin Quanyuan (Director of Research Department, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University), Li Minghua (Vice President, Shanxi Zhendong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Xie Licheng (Vice President, Changzhou Fangyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Zhao Jing (VP, R&D Center, Merro Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Ou Lingyun (Director of R&D, Guizhou Xinbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Dai Dongsheng (Director, Yabao Pharm. Co., Ltd.), Chen Changxiong (Standing Deputy Secretary-General, SINO-PhIRDA), Wang Xin (Deputy Senior Director –International Affairs, SINO-PhIRDA).

The delegation visited Canadian government agencies, universities, and had fruitful meetings with local pharmaceutical companies and associations. Discussions have been made in areas of both healthcare policy research and innovative drug technology transfer.
